I am an NCTJ-qualified freelance journalist. My editorial focus is on travel, archaeology and heritage. I also work as the Fundraising and Media Manager for the Association Cap Moderne.
I have recently left my role as the Assistant Editor at The Travel Magazine, where I worked for more than four years. Watch this space for the announcement of my exciting future plans!

Editorial
I have published more than 150 travel and archaeology features, listicles, news articles and hotel/restaurant/experience reviews. My personal style is creating inspirational and entertaining content that is well researched.
Marketing
I have 10 years’ of sales experience and have spent the last four years honing my skills in pitching for paid advertorials and sponsored posts.
Fact-checking
My fact-checking experience includes my work on Blood and Oil: Mohammed Bin Salman’s Ruthless Quest for Global Power, written by Bradley Hope and Justin Scheck and published in September 2020. The book was longlisted for the FT Business Book for the Year.
I was also the fact-checker for Trillions: How a Band of Wall Street Renegades Invented the Index Fund and Changed Finance Forever by FT Global Financial Correspondent Robin Wigglesworth.
Editing
I have experience editing websites, book proposals and travel features.
Sub-editing
I have excellent spelling and grammar and vast experience proofreading and editing articles and research documents.
Social media management
I have experience engaging with followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This includes regular posts on The Travel Magazine’s Twitter page with over 2.7 million followers.
I also set up and run the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts for the UK arm of Association Cap Moderne.
